Waikato Door Specialists recommend the use of a penetrating oil stain such as Dryden's WoodOil® or Wattyl® Forestwood on garage doors to seal and protect the timber from the environment.  Oil stains must be applied to all surfaces of the door panels prior to installation and regularily maintained to keep excess moisture from entering the timber and causing watermarks, or adding extra load to the door and motor. Dryden's WoodOil® will not crack or peel from the surface giving you a natural looking door.
